Project Coordinator, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, New York, NY, August 2018-present

  • Providing support and assistance to a Project Management Director for daily administrative and project based tasks including but not limited to the following: editing, updating & preparing project schedules, agendas & meeting minutes, coordinating and communicating with project teams and consultants to confirm staffing, labor and work plans, meetings, document procurement and forwarding, schedule updates and office and past project research to assist in progressing the workplace culture

  • Creating and preparing add service proposals

  • Managing and holding weekly supervisory meetings to update and maintain full project staffing, labor and availability within the office

  • Assisting Project Managers with updating labor and staffing plans and coordinating with associates and directors to maintain project success

  • Provided support and assistance during all phases, more specifically, construction documents and permit set preparation, including but not limited to understanding & picking up red lines & details, coordination with local vendors, the building department, and consultants for procurement and delivery of materials and samples, drawing sets, & permit approvals.

  • Implementation of the G7A office redesign and the Principal’s personal home bathroom and kitchen improvements, FF&E sourcing, purchasing, & scheduling, as well as daily office administrative tasks, such as employee and consultant recruitment, vendor follow-up, lunch & learn scheduling, site meetings, site photography, meeting minutes, agendas, schedules & social media updates.

Contract Designer & Project Manager, Decorist, Inc., San Francisco, CA, May 2017-December 2017

  • Designing for & guiding clients through the online design process to create a residential space determined by a project questionnaire that summarizes room details & needs. Provides floor plans, visual 2D perspective boards, & a fully resourced product list available to purchase
  • Coordinates & manages all Classic designer landing pages & communication with designers, as well as guidance for visual standards of portfolio

 

Design Project Coordinator & Manager, Decorist, Inc., San Francisco, CA, August 2016 - August 2017

  • Project-managed all Classic level residential projects; coordination & administration of all Classic design package projects, a pipeline of 50-75 active projects at any given time. Reported to the Director of Design & VP of Operations

  • Coordinated & oversaw the 3D rendering project pipeline with independently contracted 3D renderers, lead daily 3D progress meetings to align the renderers & in-house design team on each 3D project status, with up to 25 3D projects each month

  • Facilitated constant communication between designers & clients to ensure that project deadlines & client needs were met

  • Monitored progress on each project, including reviewing, editing, & creating concept & final design boards, resolving conflicts with clients about projects, product resourcing, & product entry.

  • Kept track of & reported regularly to CEO and leadership team on status of FF&E purchase orders and budget, with monthly purchase order totals of up to 100 transactions

  • Selected by Head of Marketing to be lead project manager & worked directly with him on a 3-month project to have Decorist Celebrity designers design luxury penthouse apartment, Lumina, a high rise residential condominium, for one of the largest global real estate companies

 

Architectural & Interior Design Intern, Wid Chapman Architects, New York, NY, June 2015-January 2016

  • Edited & drafted drawings for filing & construction; prepared and completed FF & E schedules for clients and job site visits

  • Assisted in directing & managing photography sessions for publicity, specifically for Industry Kitchen on South Street.

  • Oversaw residents through out the residence halls, assisted with issues & concerns of residents, & tended to various incidents & emergencies that involved residents’ health & well-being.
